For my middle grade and young adult work, I have a co-author named Bill Howe. Our Cuffed series is now out from Quake, an imprint of Echelon Press. Please see the Cuffed tab above for details on that project.
Bill retired from the local police force after a 38 year career, including stints as Officer Friendly and as supervisor of the crime lab. Bill has taught criminal justice at Kellogg Community College for 30 years, where he is a student favorite for his humorous war stories and disturbing photographs. He now works as the investigator for the Prosecutor's Office. Many odd things have happened to Bill over the years, and he's a pretty funny guy, so he's a fantastic writing partner. Bill can be reached at petrainvest@aol.com
Bill and I also have a young adult novel written in an interactive style out on submission. The Case of the Bedridden Bather allows the reader to use forensics to solve the murder of a man in his bathtub. The reader has to compare fingerprints, tool marks, and other physical evidence, as well as evaluate the testimony of the various suspects and witnesses.
